I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again! All of our current students are moved into their dorms and well on their way to a great semester and the RWU Admission Staff will be heading out on the road again just next week! Summer time in Bristol is always an amazing experience but there is a lot of excitement in the air here as we prepare to visit your local high school. Keep an eye on our website as we’ll be adding the dates, times, and locations of our fall travel shortly so that you can come and meet with one of our representatives to learn more about RWU! With that in mind, remember it’s never too early to start working on your college applications, especially if you’ve just started your senior year. Check out the common application, create your account, and get started little by little. This will really help make the entire application process much less daunting. Also, don’t forget you can call our office at any time if you need help getting started or just have some college application questions in general. You can reach our Office of Undergraduate Admission by calling 401-254-3500. We look forward to hearing from you and working through the application process with you! Good luck with your new school year, see you soon!
I also CANNOT forget to mention how lucky I’ve been over that last 2 years to work with such an amazing co-worker, Justin Bongiardo. Justin has worked as an Admission Counselor and the Assistant Director of Transfer Admission here at RWU. He will be moving to Washington D.C. in just a few short days and will be representing RWU in several states this travel season. Although we’ll all miss him when we return to the office in November we are excited for him to start his new adventure. Thank you Justin for teaching me so much about admissions during the last 2 years but more importantly, for becoming such a great friend. Your witty jokes, candy stash, and all the fun you’ve brought to the Admissions staff will be missed!
